Frequently Asked Questions about Cleaning Service

  1. Are all your maids bonded and insured?
  2. Answer: YES ! All maids go through a check and are insured by the company!

  3. Do you supply all equipment and supplies?
  4. Answer: Yes ! Our maids take with them their own vacuums, step ladders and all their own cleaning supplies such as Pinesol, spic and span, vim and fantastic to name a few of the common cleansers.

  5. How many maids do you send to each house?
  6. Answer: We always send two maids per house however if the home is extremely large we may send a team of four maids.

  7. What happens if I want a regular cleaning set up and I will not be home?
  8. Answer: Most of our customers give us a key which we label with a code so only Able Maids knows whose home it is.

  9. How do I pay if I am not home when the maids finish cleaning?
  10. Answer: The maids will always leave an invoice on your kitchen table for you. You may send in a cheque or leave the cheque on the table for the ladies to pickup at your next cleaning date.

  11. I am concerned with maids being too exhausted if they clean a large number of houses in a day. How many does each team of two ladies clean?
  12. Answer: Our teams only clean three houses a day. Our maids are never rushed from house to house and are never in a hurry to clean your house.

  13. What happens if I need a cleaning on short notice?
  14. Answer: Able Maids are very flexible and can usually accommodate you the next day and sometimes the same day. The more notice is better and especially if you request specific maids.

  15. Will I get an answering service if I call in to your office during the day?
  16. Answer: No! Our office staff are in the office from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday to serve you. After hours we do have an answering service for your convenience.
